A Thankful Attitude

Happiness through a thankful attitude. As we think of who we are, where we come from, and what lies ahead, let’s pause, breathe and move forward with a thankful attitude.

Walking with a thankful attitude does not mean everything is going your way. On the other hand, being grateful radiant positive feelings. Also, it reminds you of good experiences. Third, it improves your health and equips you to deal with adversity.

Characteristic of You as a Thankful Person

A thankful attitude inspires you to remain grateful. You trust others versus believing people are untrustworthy, backbiters, hateful, and users. Your spirit of appreciation allows you to empathize with others, not hold grudges and live a life of forgiveness. Don’t be so hard on yourself if you miss the mark of acting with an attitude of thankfulness. Shake off the negativity and move forward with assertiveness.

Thankful In all Things

Being thankful for everything can be challenging if we focus on our unmet needs and desires. When this feeling arises, let’s focus on reviewing a list of things we are thankful for. First, the breath of life, Next, we are surrounded by loving family members. Also, good health. Third, we have free will to select food choices, fitness routines, and friendships (hopefully, we will choose wisely). Fourth, we have a roof over our heads. Fifth, God supplies us with fresh air, clean water, and beautiful outdoor scenery. Six, we can simply be me (ourselves) and enjoy our selective career moves, social events, educational journey, and giving and receiving gifts.

With that being said, we have so much to be appreciative of. But in addition, this is a reminder that my unmet needs is met in time.

Summary

A thankful attitude snaps us out of feeling down and depressed and focusing on lack. A free healthy power strategy to energize and rejuvenate our spirit, soul, and body is through practicing gratitude. Try these thankful attitude practices: First, think of three things you are grateful for daily. Next, keep a gratitude journal. In addition,  thank someone every day. Fourth, take a breath thankful meditation break. Finally, take some me-time and be thankful for simply being me (yourself).
